How are you managing your energy? Taking care of yourself?
I’ve been feeling all the feels lately and one way I take care of myself is by allowing myself to be HUMAN and to FEEL. I’ve been riding the waves of emotions, all of them… and just allowing myself to FEEL them all.
Without resistance, this energy moves through as intended. When we resit, it lingers. A lot of people are sharing their opinions openly in the world right now. Some advise to stay positive, others say this is way too-serious and NOT take things lightly. Sometimes, it may seem hard to know where to stand.
If you’re an empath, you might be taking it all in and think you’re doing this WRONG. But, I am here to tell you that you are not. You can hear all the chatter.
AND, you can CHOOSE what to do or not do with other people’s thoughts.
My advice? Don’t make them your own.
YOU are the only circumstance you can control right now.
There is no need to feel bad for feeling bad and there is no need to feel bad for staying positive even amidst the chaos or uncertainty others are going through.
Here are just a few emotions I have been ALLOWING myself to feel:
Confusion Uncertainty Relief Gratitude Inspiration Fear Anxiety Grief Compassion Concern Determination Courage Creativity Love Connection Sadness Hope Peace
You can allow yourself to feel all the feels without making yourself wrong or thinking you’re doing it all wrong. If you’re feeling inadequate, check in with your THINKING.
You will always find your answer there.
Ride this wave as you wish but always from a place of acceptance and allowing.
That’s how you take care of yourself and manage your energy.
